• Advisor to Industry Canada on establishment of the Canadian Tourism Commission
• Senior operations executive with some of Canada’s largest lodging and foodservice companies
• Track record of facilitating successful public: private sector partnerships

Mr. Hawkins holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Hotel and Food Administration from the University of Guelph and a Masters of Business Administration in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Michigan State University. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Advanced Management Program at the University of Guelph.
