Our firm has been involved in the planning, development and operation of many of Canada’s best known public spaces, tourism and cultural attractions. From needs assessments to site evaluation, facilities design to construction management, we have assisted our public and private sector consultants across Canada to design, build and operate major tourism attractions, cultural facilities, public spaces and heritage buildings. Here are just a few of the projects we’ve been involved with. |
Royal Ontario Museum – as part of the “Crystal” expansion project, we conducted a needs analysis, service delivery strategy and facility planning for cafe, restaurant and catering facilities. We also assisted in management of the RFP process and contract negotiation with the selected operator.

City of Mississauga – needs analysis for permanent and temporary food facilities, farmer’s market, Mississauga Civic Centre and Library Square, Mississauga Community Common.
City of Burlington, Waterfront Centre - Facilities needs analysis, survey of prospective operators, stakeholder surveys, preparation of procurement documents, proposal call management, contract development and lease negotiations for fine dining restaurant.
City of Windsor, Willistead Manor - Service delivery strategy, RFP management and contract negotiations for Preferred Caterers.
City of Burlington, Paletta Mansion - Service delivery strategy, RFP management and contract negotiations for Preferred Caterers.
Toronto Zoo - Facilities needs analysis, survey of prospective operators, preparation of procurement documents, proposal call management for food service facilities.

Casa Loma - we advised the executive team and Board of Directors on the optimal service delivery strategy for restaurant and catering operations, and assisted in securing a private sector operator who invested $800,000 in upgrading the food facilities in this cultural icon.

Nathan Phillips Square Redevelopment - we advised the City of Toronto on the scope of food facilities to be provided in the $42 million redevelopment of Nathan Phillips Square, assisted in the management of the design competition, and are providing ongoing assistance during the three year re-development process. |
